Sparky, You should be buying dimmable LEDs. These will work best and can dim very low. Don't buy CFLs as they do not dim well and will fade over time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any Philips Hue bulbs. The white bulbs just dim within its color range while the Ambiance white bulbs can dim and change color from super bright white to a warm tone. Differs from the color bulbs that basically do that change different colors.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends if it's a single lamp were talking about or recessed lighting in the dinning room. For a set of lights, I wouldn't recommend Individual light bulbs, I'd suggest you get the lutron caseta dimmer and hub, best way to go in my opinion
