A:AnswerThere is a reason for it being called an "air" fryer!! The fan pushes very hot air around whatever you are cooking!! The top elements are for broiling, browning, toasting etc!! All it is....is a "baby convection oven"!! Smaller spaces heat up quicker, use less power, and recover (after opening door) faster!! Quite simply that easy
