Is the flame realistic looking? null

Yes and it's adjustable I believe there is 6 different adjustments that can be done in terms of brightness. It's a beautiful piece of furniture we like it a lot.

To me yes and the heater is incredible.

Yes, it does look real, in fact we have two French Bulldogs and they love to lay in front of our gas fireplace, and when we set this up they laid right in front of it without skipping a beat, we might invest in a little air defector to blow the warm air down on them.
