• Nope but you can make it work by mounting a piece of wood to wall then attach TV mount to the wood. Something like a piece of 2x8 would work.

• I think the answer to your question is no. If your studs are more than 16” apart, it won’t work unless you cut a piece of wood to attach to the studs, then attach the wall mounts wall plate to that.
