I purchased this TV wall mount when its sale price dropped to far below other competing mounts that did not even extend. I purchased it for an older Hitachi 44" LCD TV (37 pounds). Even though this mount is marketed for 47" TV's and higher, the TV-mounting brackets are small enough to facilitate a wide range of other TV's. So make sure to compare the wall brackets to your TV to see if it fits. Overall, I am very happy with this mount (especially for its price!). It was relatively easy to install on the wall (although note some warnings below), and it not only extends but tilts forward and backward and even rotates. The stiffness of the joints can be adjusted, but I was happy with them at their default settings. It comes with some velcro to help route wires up the mount for cable management. If you wish to fully extend the arms, some manual manipulation of the two arms behind the TV is sometimes necessary (see pictures to get an idea of how the two arms can be move independently of each other). But the design is generally easy to work with (and very sturdy). The only warning I will give is about fixing the mount to the wall studs. This mount is designed for 16" wall studs. Such spacing for wall studs is common in all exterior walls. However, older homes may have 24" spacing for studs on interior walls. So make sure you have a wall to mount the TV on with the right stud spacing. Use a good edge-to-edge stud finder, and then confirm the exact location of the edges of the studs by pushing a nail through the wall (which can be patched with spackling paste after). Once you have located the exact edge of the studs, place the provided paper template on the wall so that the holes are OFF CENTER from the studs. If you place the holds on the dead-center of some of the studs, the other holes will just barely touch the edges of your other studs. To ensure all four lag screws are firmly fixed within solid wood, be sure to position the holes in the left/right halves of the stud (NOT dead center). Otherwise, it is relatively easy to mount the TV brackets to the VESA mounts and then lift the TV up onto the mount and secure with the provided screws. This is a very impressive TV mount given the price. I was surprised that none of the other mounts stocked locally in the store could extend the TV from the wall, and I was worried this one (because of its price) might be cheap quality. However, it is very sturdy. It is a little stiff (but that can be adjusted), but I have no hesitation to call it a quality product.

Bought one of these to hang our living room TV. Installation was straight forward and easy to do. The 65” TV looked great. After a small mishap (not related to the mount) I ended up replacing the TV with a 70, which also looks great. Mount adjustability lets us change the height of the TV fairly easily to get exactly the look we are going for. It’s strong, decent build quality, and the full motion lets us watch from the living room, dining room or the kitchen. Comparable mounts cost far more money. We loved it so much, we bought another one for the bedroom TV.

Excellent wall mount for a TV! The build quality is great - the metal is strong, and everything locks securely with no wobbling. Installation was easy: all the necessary bolts and anchors were included, and the instructions were clear. The TV holds firmly in place, doesn’t tilt or shake, even when fully extended. It’s convenient that you can adjust the tilt and swivel the screen to any side. It looks neat and minimalistic on the wall, not bulky at all. Highly recommend - great value for the price!

This mount is amazing and takes no time to put together.Everything came inside the box no missing screws or pieces with this product.After putting it together and mounting the TV,I noticed the TV “Sagging” and wouldn’t tilt up.This was an error on my end.All I needed to do was tighten the 2 middle screws on the face plate and it’s now fully functional.So if anyone has this issue this is the remedy.Tv Mount is perfect moves in any direction you want it.

This product is indeed worth 5 stars. I originally bought one and ended up buying 2 more. It’s sturdy, adjustable, and easy to install by yourself. The instructions and template are clear to understand and the best thing about this product is the price!!! Most full motion mounts cost over $100 dollars! But this is a bang for your buck! Just buy it!! I told my parents and sister to buy one and they ended up buying a couple of them!

I had this wall mount since 2020 and it's still holding up my 55" tv. Best buy workers helped me set it up and I still don't have issues with it. I can still move my tv around if needed and I don't fear that the tv will fall or the wall mount will break.

This wall mount is exactly what I was looking for! It’s very sturdy and feels secure once installed. It was easy to install and mount the TV. The mount moves smoothly left and right once the TV is in place. However, when extending it out and trying to push it back toward the wall, it took more effort than expected. I understand it needs to be firm to hold angled positions, but for my setup on a flat wall with a larger TV, it ended up being more of a hassle than a help trying to push it back without grabbing the TV.

My TV has never been both so on the wall and so movable. Both easy to set up and use, a wall mount for the whole family.

OMG, what a great wall mount well worth the money. A little heavy awkward when mounting by yourself but when it's up it made it so much easier to hook the TV on it, tobe able to connect the power and soundbar wires with the TV out away (18)" from the wall. It holds my Samsung 75" TV just fine, plus you can angle it in any direction, I'm so happy with this wall mount. I used 4 1/2" lag bolts (4) and it's their for ever.

This is a solid TV mount that I used to mount my 65" TV in the living room. Easy to install and gives you hardware for just about every installation situation/material. It helps that it swivels and tilts in all directions as our living room is narrow, so I can tilt it downward just a bit.

Excellent Wall Mount. I combined this with an Insignia 65" TV. I'm a little stunned that I can get a full motion mount like this with a 65" TV at this price. Usually it's a couple hundred bucks. The template to install worked perfectly, although I actually cut out just the mounting area of the larger template to make it easier to get in the right spot. Not sure if it's because this and the TV are Insignia, but they fit perfectly, with zero issues. I also mounted it on stone, white stone wall on my covered patio. You need a hammer drill and good bits to do this, but it literally took 30 minutes or less. I spent more time measuring where I wanted the TV etc, compared to the smaller TV I already have up there, now there are 2 for Saturday College games!!!! The hardware supplied went in the rock perfectly. The motion all works every well. The only small issue I had was the leveling mechanism. The bracket will tilt which worked fine, but it also swivels so that the TV can be leveled if the mount isn't 100% level. Mine was very level, but the TV when you move it and adjust, there are bolts that tighten down to keep it exact. There are four, and all four spun, so it didn't completely tighten down. If I grab the TV and try to change it, it still adjusts. I did move it in and out, and angle it, and it was tight enough that it wouldn't move out of alignment without me trying to do that. I would have pulled them and put a lock washer on the back side to keep it from spinning on all 4, but I wasn't going to pull the TV to put ones on at this point, it doesn't really move that adjustment. Overall, this is crazy solid, I'm a little shocked I have this solid of a bracket at this low of a price point for a 65" TV.
