I do not recall any tension settings. I think it comes pre-set. However they are very snug and so far have not loosened. The tv stays exactly where you put it. It never wobbles or tilts out of level. I have nothing but problems with my expensive Belogetti mount with these very issues but this mount has been awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly I don’t remember reading the manual but it’s pretty self explanatory. On the back of the bracket there are lock nuts that must be tightened. I believe there’s 2 for tilting left to right, and 4 for top and button tilting. They definitely have to be tightened to prevent the tv from being crooked. As far as set screws, there are 2 one on each vertical rail. Once the tv is mounted tighten those so the tv can’t dislodge itself from the mounting bracket.
