My mount still sticks out 9-10 inches. Others have said it can retract to 3 inches. Since it is centered above the fireplace I want to push the tv straight back, not to the side and back. Loosening the Allen screws doesn't seem to help. null

I'm in the same boat as the original poster. I try to push the TV back but it won't go back any farther and there's about 8-9 inches between the wall and the TV. It should be able to go back much farther.

I made an appointment for someone to come out to take a look at it. Best Buy installed it originally so maybe I will have an update next week once someone has looked at it.

Mine is pushed flat to the wall. The back of the TV is 3.5” from the wall.
