Yes. When as close to wall as possible, the back of TV will be about 4" from the wall - see photo "TV flat against wall". The mechanism takes up some space between TV and wall even when fully folded flat. When fully extended with TV parallel to wall, the back of TV will be about 18" from wall - "TV extended parallel". At that full extension, our 32" TV can then be turned fully perpendicular (90 degrees) to the wall - "TV extended perpendicular". This should give you some sense of the tremendous adjustability of this mount. "Full motion" for sure, since you can position the TV anywhere between these extremes. We can easily adjust it for best viewing from any point in the room.
