A:Answer1. For me it was much easier to renew Total Support by going in to my local store. Trying to do it on line was Very troublesome.
2. Last year a tech person put it on my laptop. No problem.
But later this year I am buying an Apple MacBook because I am sick of Windows and antivirus issues. With MacBook those are not needed !
A:AnswerHello and thanks for reaching out with this question regarding repair services with the My Best Buy Total™ membership. While you can receive discounts on repair services for products no matter where you purchased them with this membership, for full coverage, you would need to have a Best Buy Protection plan, Geek Squad Protection plan, or AppleCare+ plan on your device for a repair to be covered by Best Buy. In addition, depending on the type of plan, additional service fees may be required. For additional questions, please contact Best Buy on Facebook (facebook.com/BestBuy), Twitter/X (@BestBuySupport), or Instagram (@BestBuy) and mention this is in regards to your My Best Buy review. Our support team would love the opportunity to learn more and assist!
A:AnswerWebroot is a part of the Total Tech plan. I would check back with Best Buy to determine if you can purchase the Total Tech plan. You may learn that it you will save money by centralizing all of technology support needs under one service with a large sphere of coverage.
A:AnswerExcept this is not of equal value. and no one wants a refurbished phone that is damaged! I would have never paid for a warranty if this was the case! Misleading customers about new replacements for damaged items especially phones is mis advertisement.
A:AnswerApparently not all services are covered even though it is called TOTAL. They wouldn't even replace a laptop fan that another repairer did in 30 minutes. I'm using that laptop months later right now to provide you with a suggestion to avoid Worst Buy.
A:AnswerI think you can ask customer service and they will ask some security questions. I myself don't remember my mem. no. mention you have a total tech membership when you buy a device
