• Yes it will function above your head; however, the cleaning power (brushes don’t spin) and suction should detour you from purchasing this item. Also, the battery life is very short so using it for anything more than a puppy’s accident is impractical.

• No, it won't work upside down, the way the dirty water tank works, would only work horizontal, and I think vertical, but not inverted.

• No. It would not spray the solution. If you sprayed a seperate solution on it, the vacuum would work. I would make sure the chambers were empty in case it leaked.
