Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My unit came with 2 brush heads, the regular head has a brush similar to a kitchen brush so you could pull one through your carpet (gently) to test. The “deep cleaning brush”, however, has long rubber tips that stuck out beyond the brush surface so you might have some problems with that one. The suction is less than a good vacuum cleaner so that should not be an issue for your loops. Good luck!

Please try again later.The biggest mistake is to scrub the carpet with the brushes, they are there for slow gentle agitation, scrubbing will distort, and sometimes frey or fuzz the carpet fibers.These machines are to rinse spots away, after cleaning with the proper spotting chemicals.
