“Is this a "self cleaning beater bar" or does the hair have to be pulled/cut off manually, like a standard vacuum?”

• Unfortunately, like a standard vacuum, you have to maintain the beater bar. I have a house full of people with long hair as well as a dog and I have to clean it maybe once a month if I’m vacuuming two times a week though!
