Customer Ratings & Reviews

I spent hours researching and chose this as my new vacuum and I am glad I did. It's so easy to lift off the canister and get up and down the stairs with my pet attachment, getting cat hair off the steps, off the furniture. I love the auto-adjusting feature of the base going from carpet to floor. I love that the base is lit allowing me to see all the dust down a dark hallway. And bonus, the wand is lit too, so vacuuming under the sofa and other shadowed areas allows me to see what's there to vacuum up. It's so simple to use, to clean and it sucks up all the cat litter that gets tracked around, fur, and everything else. If there's just a little mess or spot to clean up, I get the vacuum out because it's that easy to fire up and be done 2 minutes later. I'm very, very, happy with this choice! I used to hate the hassle of vacuuming the stairs ~ not anymore! It looks nice too ~ rose gold and black. Seriously, you cannot beat this functionality at such a low price.

I have two pets, a cat and dog. This vacuum works perfectly for my two pet home. Having the ability to clean multiple surfaces, including ledges/baseboards, brings me a peace of mind. It's a well balanced, light weighted, easy to use vacuum.

This is an amazing vacuum, it's light, nimble & easy to use. It does a fantastic job at cleaning as an upright vacuum & with the added benefit of the lift-off canister for tackling jobs that better suite this mode is the icing on the cake. This vacuum doesn't shy away from anything I throw at it, it seems eager to conquer every challenge. I definitely recommend getting this vacuum.

I previously had a Shark Navigator and this vacuum blew it out of the water. I have to preface this by saying I have a HIGH shed dog and vacuumed WEEKLY with the Shark. The first time using the Bissell I had vacuumed two days prior to receiving it and had to empty the canister SIX times and I live in a small 2-bedroom apartment. Side note, I have been the only tenant in the apartment since new carpet was placed, so I know it was only my dogs hair. Cannot recommend this vacuum enough!

SO happy we switched to Bissell. I have always liked the design and capabilities of the higher end lifts way vacuums, and this does even better for a lower cost! We vacuumed 1 day after using our old one and it picked up SOOO much dust and dirt that had clearly been missed for over a year (see photo). The pet tool is really helpful too for the dog hair on the couch and chairs. My husband and I actually like vacuuming now?

This was a great buy, and more powerful than our last vacuum. This Bissell pulls the dirt and dust from deep within the carpet.

I really like it! It pick up really good! It helps me with my allergies! It is really good made!

Very good, but really heavy! Substitute on my workout.

This is a powerful lightweight vacuum that easy to use. So far we are extremely happy with it and recommend it.

The vacuum as an upright is great. Lightweight, easy to use and great power. HOWEVER I’ve gone through 2 of them in the last 36 hours because when you use the lift-off feature, an extremely loud and irritating squealing noise happens. I purchased each of the vacuums from 2 different Best Buy stores. A $300 vacuum should not have this issue. Makes me nervous to try any other Bissell products with the same feature. Returning the second one today and i think ill opt to purchase a separate dust buster instead of another lift-off version.

super light vacuum. Easy to use. not too big. picks up everything.

Works great, suction good, picks up cat and dog hair. Easily managed

Absolutely love this vacuum! I love all the different ways it can be used, the detachable vacuum for when you want to vacuum stairs or higher up places, the hose and the parts that come with it make vacuuming the furniture so easy. The ease of the swivel motion to reach every crevice and light to show the smaller crumbs or dust. I usually buy expensive vacuums that don’t do half of what this one does and the price is very reasonable. Will definitely recommend to everyone. Even my husband and kids love to use it. The best part is that the vacuum is so easy to clean because it all comes apart making it easy each use, where you get the best clean each and every time.

Easy to use, versatile, does not play around with dog hair, great for rugs and hardwood.

Bought this vacuum as an extra vacuum for my home. It works well, is easy and light weight

The BISSELL SurfaceSense Allergen Pet Lift-Off Upright Vacuum stands out as a powerful and versatile cleaning solution, especially for pet owners. It combines strong suction with smart technology that automatically adjusts between carpets and hard floors, making transitions seamless and efficient. One of its most appreciated features is the Lift-Off detachable pod, which allows for easy cleaning of stairs, furniture, and hard-to-reach areas without carrying the full vacuum. The HEPA sealed allergen system is another major highlight, effectively trapping dust and allergens—ideal for households with allergies or pets.

We were looking into upgrading our old vacuum. We just didn’t know which one to get so we read all the previous reviews on different vacuum brands. After all the reading and comparing our existing Bissell we decided to stick with the brand we know and love. It works great!! Love to have a vacuum to give our rumba a break with all the dog hair.

Very lightweight and easy to maneuver. Powerful and picks up hair easily

I recently moved into an apartment and this vacuum had the best qualities! It’s very easy to use and had multiple functions. Works on carpet and vinyl/wood flooring with its easy adjustments for different floorings. It also has multiple attachments and makes it super easy cleaning dust off corners. It even has a flashlight on one of the attachments! Made it super easy to see the dust! Decent size for a vacuum and can be easily stored and out of the way. It can hold a lot and go through multiple sweeps without having to be emptied! Absolutely love this vacuum.

Quality vacuum, it does exactly what I wanted it to do, it picks up the dog hair from my rug and with the attachment it cleans up my sofa. I love the way it goes from rug to floor without me having to change it, love the light it shows what you’ve missed on your dark wood floors. Easy to use and easy to clean.. I’ve had other Bissells but this one has beast them all in performance. It comes apart easily to clean. I have no complaints! You get a great product for the price
