As far as connecting to the mobile network instead of wifi, you could absolutely use a Hotspot to connect. However I would say they use quite a bit of data. So, I'm not sure how far a Hotspot would get you.

The Blink system can be added to another 2 camera package. However, it requires use of a 2.4ghz frequency connection. We do not recommend using a phone hotspot to get the cameras online.

The solar panel and floodlight attachments are mutually exclusive for our cameras. A camera can only enjoy the benefits of one or the other at a time since they both use the micro-usb port on the back.
