“If I am purchasing the XT2 for outdoors (5 camera pack) and want to purchase this for indoor use (1 in my house and the other in the garage/studio, will they all link up with the 1 module that is included with the outdoor XT5? I want to buy the right ones”

You should be able to link 10 cameras to the module and the blink mini cameras are a good option for indoor if you decide you want the 5th one outside.
