Q: Will this camera work without a subscription?
A: Apparently you can use it but no recordings! I didn't realize this. If I had, I would never have bought them! Ridiculous!
A: There is a limit to the continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Currently, you are able to view up to 5 minutes at a time in 30 second intervals. After 5 minutes you would have to initiate a new live view session.
Q: Doea it save all recordings or is a live screen ?
A: The Blink Mini cameras when armed record clips based on motion detection only. You are also able to save live view sessions with the Blink Mini as well. The Blink Mini cameras do not offer continuous recording though you can leave the camera armed for motion detection for any interval of time.
Q: Does this camera work on a 5G wireless network?
A: The Blink System (including the Blink Mini) does currently require a 2.4ghz WiFi-based Internet connection to operate. Blink is not compatible with wifi networks broadcasting a 5ghz signal.
A: Yes that is absolutely correct. I own one and all I had to do was download the app to work it and I don't need to be home to arm it or disarm it. Great product.
Q: Will this detect outdoor motion through a window?
A: I do not recommend using any surveillance camera through a window because it disables the night vision from working due to the glass reflecting the Infared Light back at the camera basically blinding it. My advice is purchase the Blink XT2 outdoor units for that type of surveillance.
Q: Can it be used as a webcam for streaming?
A: There is a limit to the continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Currently, you are able to view up to 5 minutes at a time in 30 second intervals. After 5 minutes you would have to initiate a new live view session.

Compact, Reliable, and Affordable Indoor Security
I recently purchased the Blink Mini Indoor 1080p Wireless Security Camera, and it has exceeded my expectations! The 1080p HD video quality is crystal clear, and the motion detection works flawlessly. Setting it up was a breeze, and I love that it integrates seamlessly with Alexa, allowing me to check live feeds on my Echo Show. The two-way audio is a fantastic feature, and the night vision provides excellent visibility even in low light. While the optional cloud storage requires a subscription, the overall performance and affordability make it a great choice for anyone looking for a compact and reliable indoor security solution. The Average Camera.
Cameras are extremely user friendly, and have decent video quality, however; the video delay leaves you wanting more… for instance, you could raise your hand from your side as fast as you can and place it back at your side before the video shows you lifting your hand. Overall its a fairly decent inside camera for watching a toddler

Blink camera review
It is a really good set of cameras the quality is good and it has night vision for the price I would recommend. Also the app is really simple and easy to use.
