Absolutely not- all Blink devices are cross-compatible with any Sync Module. The only limitation is any given Sync Module can support up to ten cameras on the same system. If your existing system does not yet have ten cameras, you can reuse the same Sync Module and simply pair the Video Doorbell to the same existing system.
