The USB port on the back of the camera can be used with a MicroUSB cable and power adapter (not included with your camera) to power your cameras rather than using batteries.

Yes. You can buy a more stable mount and a case which allows you to run a power cord. Although this does effect the weather proofing. I tried attaching a link to a youtube video showing the mount.

Yes, if you remove the rubber cover in the back, it will expose the micro usb port. But you will lose the weatherproof feature and cannot install it outside.
