It is pretty much easy to use. You could even watch on YouTube and be ready to go after it charges without a problem. It is not the greatest thing in the world but it does it's job. Some people just like to complain about everything

I had no problems with information on this vacuum there's no special instructions on how it works. Charge it for 24 hours and press start. That's it he will find his way around your house and if you don't want a room cleaned then you must closed the door to that room. He might need a day or two to find his way back to the doc but he will find it give the dude a chance to get to know his new home.
