“I have two questions. 1) Can I keep my phone number from T Mobile and port it in as a new customer and if so how many days notice do you need to do this. 2) if I buy the 3 month card, can I cancel before 3 months and not get charged.”

Yes, you can port your number in from T Mobile. To activate the card you go online to boostmobile.com and it will ask you if you want to port a number over and walk you through how to do it. And yes you can cancel before the 3 months is up. You will get notified I believe via email letting you know the 3 months is coming up and Boost gives you time to decide to continue or not.
