“Does this phone take pictures using a button on the side of the phone or do I have to only use the big white button on the screen?”

• This phone doesn't have side buttons. Home, volume up and down buttons are located in the back side of the phone. Answering your question yes you can use volume buttons to take pictures if you want or actually you can touch any part of the screen too.
