Customers are saying

Customers regard the LG Stylo 2 4G highly, praising its large screen size, surprisingly good camera quality, and ease of use. The affordable price point is also frequently cited as a major advantage, along with the inclusion of a stylus. While some users found the power button placement on the back of the phone to be initially awkward, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive.

I love my new Boost Mobile phone. It has 16gb memory which is great for downloading lots of apps. I've also put a Samsung 128gb card in for additional memory. The phone clocks in at 1.1ghz which makes for smooth processing. I really like that the phone has three options for home screen layout. The 13mp camera produces crisp pictures. This is one of the few phones today that has a stylus built in, hence the name Stylo 2. There is a volume control on the back of the phone, and you can easily control both brightness and volume from the drop-down screen. No doubt there might be a negative thing or two but I haven't come up with anything bad to say. I'd recommend getting a Zizo protective case with protective glass screen which would cost only about $15 more.

I purchased this phone to replace my LG Optimus 3 and so far am fairly happy with it. My previous phone lasted 2.5 years and I purchased this one specifically because it was an LG phone which appeared to be an updated, improved version of my previous model. The biggest thing to know about this phone is that it is very large to be considered a phone. You can operate it with one hand, but it's far more comfortable with two. However, since I rarely make phone calls and mostly use this for messaging, browsing, maps, and games when away from home, this was not a drawback for me. Like most smartphones offered by Virgin Mobile, it comes loaded with a ton of programs I had no desire for. However, it offered more memory and a better camera than anything else they had available in the under $200 price range. And a good portion of the unwanted programs were quite easily uninstalled or disabled. The version of Android on this phone is fast and was worth the slightly higher price versus the model I had previously. I find that my favorite feature thus far is the stylus, which was not something I thought I wanted. But it's super easy to use and works so much better than I expected from using them with other touch pad systems (think signature pads at retail stores). The battery life is pretty good - the day I received it, I used it pretty heavily for about 6 hours while migrating my info from my old phone, setting this one up on the network, and otherwise installing apps and checking out features and barely drained a quarter of the battery. Most days, I unplug it in the morning and find I have 30-40% still left when I go to plug it in for the night, and it charges to full in just under an hour. This phone also has a snap off back. Which is really a double edged sword. It's great because it means you can replace your own battery, your micro SD card for expanding memory is protected inside the case instead of in a slot on the side where it is prone to damage, and at least with my old phone which had the same snap off back (exactly the same thing), dropping the phone generally results in the back snapping off, which absorbs most of the impact, leaving your phone undamaged, other than the battery lying on the floor. But at the same time, I replaced my old phone because those snaps eventually gave way. One by one they snapped off until I was holding it on with one little tab and electrical tape. So yeah, I highly recommend buying a case. I never got one for my old phone, but it still lasted 2.5 years with only cosmetic damage. I definitely purchased one for this one at the same time I purchased the phone. Other features I liked: - Reader-mode: Changes lighting/color specifically to make reading e-books or extended text easier on your eyes - Camera - it's nice. Much nicer than the one from my LG Optimus 3, or any other phone available on Virgin that I looked at while shopping. - Power button/camera shutter button/volume is on the back. I used to kill my battery bumping buttons in my pocket. - Twice as much memory as my previous Virgin Mobile phone - Some of the preloaded stuff was just what I would have wanted anyway - Google Suite of Apps (music, drive, photos, messaging, hangouts, etc), Amazon Kindle. Even came preloaded with LG Backup which made porting the files and contacts from my old phone super easy. Not so great things: - Power port and headphone jack both on the bottom - a minor annoyance since I often listen to music in the evening and charge while I listen. - So much bloatware. But I was prepared. I figure it's the price I pay for not shelling out $75-100/mo. to Sprint or Verizon on a contract. Some of what I call bloatware will probably be some things users would want though. For example, Instagram, Facebook, Amazon Music, and Youtube all came already installed. There were only a few that wouldn't go away. - Large - The large screen is great for reading e-books and watching videos, but this will not fit in most of my pockets. Unless you wear cargo pants or medical scrub pants, you're probably gonna have to get a belt clip or a purse to carry this guy around.

So far after a month or two i love this phone. Its got a huge clear screen, its thin and light. Has 16GB internal memory and will take huge SD cards unlike the stupid Iphone. The stylus feature to be able to write on the screen has its uses. If you pull it out while the phone is in standby you can just easy write notes on the screen and then next time you pull the pen out your note is there to remind you. i use that feature for work. Camera is great (but they all are now) battery life is good. All around a superb phone especially considering the price.

What a phone! I am blown away by the value for money you can get nowadays, and this phone proves it to me. It has a great vivid screen that makes any media watching a pleasure. Though it's only a 720p screen it doesn't seem like it, it seems Full HD. The software included with the phone works great and is very responsive as well. It's not stock Android, but the skin LG had done here is very easy to get used to. It blazes along most of the time, with slight stutters or delays here and there. Some games can be a little choppy if you're a heavy gamer, but the casual Hay Day or Candy Crush won't cause any issues. The sound is good, not great, and camera quality is surprisingly great. It won't compare to a flagship phone, but this can be had for a fraction of the price. For me it's adequate. However, the only bad thing is you will fill up memory quickly on this phone most likely, and the memory card will not allow in most cases for games or apps to be installed to it. This can be a bummer, and the only knock I have to the phone. I definitely recommend the phone, especially with the stylus interactivity. Kudos to LG for such a cheap but functional and surprising phone!

Not going to be like an iphone 7 or samsung s7 but for 50 bucks it blows away the hd 5 i got for free.... Huge screen and 16 gig of internal memory. A stylus pen built in and really fast and responsive screen for what i paid. I went to order a second one and the price went back up the next day ...they were sold out in stores now i see why. If they go back on sale i will grab one just for the extra battery. Don't hesitate its a no brainer on this one. They are coming out with a 3 but doesn't do that much more for the price difference. It also says an 8 mg pixle back camera but it's a 12...great pics....

LG Stylo 2: "Stylo" means "pen" in french. It does not mean "style". This is a 5.7 inch large screen tablet phone with a 1080 quality daylight 13 mp camera, 2gb of memory. It has effective built in speakers for watching youtune or downloaded or streaming videos. The battery life is high, and it is removable. You can also purchase additional batteries online for $5 - $7. The scren size is the same size as the Samsung Galazy Note series and the Plus Series of Iphone 6 and 7. PROS: 1) Quality Touch Screen Display 2) MP3 Player 3) 13mp/5mp built in camera 4) No Contract if Paid in Full 5) Built in Stylus, (pen) 6) effective to use a $15 adapter and connect to any smart tv or computer monitor of any sizer and used as a computer 7) bluetooth capable, 8) Best Buy price matched with another company 9) you can debate about whether or not you want to pay $20 more monthly for insurance on another more expensive device or save the money for the device that is under $100. 10) Effective and clear conduit for streeaming direct tv, sling, or other straming services. CONS: 1)you "must" go online and purchase a glass protector, preferably before use. The glass is not gorilla glass. 2) the processor is slightly slower than more expensive cell phones (all that means is that my typing an email is a semi second slower than my fingers touch the letter..all streaming of tv and movies and youtube is perfect.)

A great phone that is large in size but surprisingly lightweight to carry around. Crisp beautiful HD screen and the handiness of large internal memory and a built in stylus make this a great purchase. The only drawback is you cannot move apps to the memory card - but that is more of a restriction of the 6.0 operating system and not the phone itself. Highly recommended.

The only drawback to this phone is the volume/power switch being on the back of the phone. It's not terrible that it is back there just different. This phone has a longer battery life than other androids I've had. Easy to use, lots of memory, perfect size.

No I am not paid for this. Writing from an email after my purchase. It is a great phone so far. Not one issue. Best Buy price was the best. The operating system is the latest so this phone will be good for years. Screen size is awesome. Features are good. Pen comes in handy a ton. Love it. Add an SD card and you will never fill the phone up. I put in 32GB. This is my second LG phone. Both have been great. I also have an IPhone 5c. It sits on my desk. I use my LG stylish every time.

This phone is very nice for the price. Its lighter than any other phone that large that I have seen. Its thin, looks nice, and does not feel cheap. The stylus works well for taking quick notes. Its not pressure sensitive, but that does not matter for notes. It can play basic games like Clash of Clans well, but not more taxing games like Mobile Strike. It doesn't run hot. Calls sound good. The camera with flash takes photos well enough for casual use, but it does not have any manual controls.
