Just like me, you're stuck with it. You have to figure out some other arrangement in the one you originally intended. But, from what I've used over the past three months, it's been worth it

The interaction between the speaker arrays and the Acoustimass bass module makes proper placement of the speakers critical to the acoustic performance of the system. Ideal placement of the speaker arrays is directly beside the monitor, facing straight ahead, at an equal distance from the listener. We recommend placing the bass module below the computer desk. As such, we've found that the hardwired 8' speaker wires included with the system help to ensure optimal performance while providing flexibility with placement and we do not make longer wires.
