Very easy to hook up! I have a Bose sound bar, so I am not sure if there is more involved with a non Bose sound bar.

These speakers can communicate wirelessly with other SoundTouch speakers on your home network. They cannot communicate wirelessly with 3rd-party speakers (with the exception of 3rd-party speakers connected to a SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter). We hope this helps! - Brian
