• Great question, the TV will not broadcast audio via WiFi. You might check your owner's guide to see if your TV has Bluetooth as you might be able to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth to listen to a broadcast.

• I would not recommend doing that, I tried to use it as a sound bar and there was a delay of the sound from the TV, I think you need to use something designed to work with the TV or the sound and movement between the two devices will be out of sync
