Hello Mom, Yes, The Sound Touch 10 Wireless Speaker has Base. The Base is engineered at the factory once the sound system (speaker) is updated. Base, Treble and Vocals are heard distinctively, without adjustments. However, if you want to manually adjust base, this can be down from the downloadable app that is offered, for this unit, through your App Store. Go to Download the Sound Touch 10 App in your owners manual for instructions or global.Bose.com/Support/ST10 to download the app on your computer. Good luck.
