The bose soundtouch unit has connections for Bluetooth, Optical and HDMI port. If the receiver or any of your devices have any of these options for connectivity then it should work accordingly. The wireless remote has source buttons (with picutres for receiver as well) you can select to transfer from each connection mode, affording the opportunity to be connected to multiple sources. I currently use it to play directly from the tv, my mobile phone, laptop, and ipad. Hard wire and/ or Bluetooth... You can't go wrong.
