These speakers are for the Boss Sound Bar - SoundTouch 300. They connect wireless to the SoundTouch 300 but do require to be plugged into an electrical outlet. These are rear speakers and do not product a high volume, they only add to the overall "surround sound". I have the SoundTouch 300, wireless Subwoofer and these Speakers and couldn't be happier with the quality of sound.
