“I would like to add these to the 300 soundbar and sub but only have the ability to plug them into outlets on the floor. The soundbar and sub sit near the fireplace and these speakers would go in the back of the room (12 ft) away on the floor. this work?”

Absolutley! These are paired wirelessly. They just need a source of power which they will from the outlet your are describing.

The Virtually Invisible 300 wireless surround speakers will work great with your SoundTouch 300 system within about 30 feet of the soundbar. For the best audio quality, we would recommend placing the speakers above where your head would be when you watch TV. The speakers can be placed on a table, or mounted using floorstands such as the UFS-20 Series II. These are available directly through Bose at 1-800-367-4008.
