Only other hardware needed is just a dash kit which is the plastic trim that is vehicle specific for your car, and a vehicle specific wiring harness adapter to adapt your factory harness to your aftermarket stereo harness, both items usually run about $10-$20 each

It does work with the harness that was already there from my old Boss model and the reverse camera. Might add I bought because it was an upgrade, but am disappointed that it doesn't have a CD player at all and I can't use the GPS without having unit connected to my phone. My MicroSD card isn't playing KVIC Radio (my mp3's, either). May be a format problem... Have to use my phone to use the GPS, but it does have the advantage of not having to update GPS maps.
