Yes! You can use on the face from the cheekbones down, so upper lip, jawline, and chin should be fine. Use the precision treatment head for single hairs or small patches. It doesn't hurt at all! I always use the highest setting and have never even felt a pinch. It's warm. It's bright. It's almost scary. But, it doesn't hurt at all. Now this is my experience and opinion. If you have very sensitive skin or a low pain tolerance, I would start on the most gentle setting first. If you are ok with that, move up to the next level. Still good? Go ahead and try the regular/standard setting. I also think skin tone and hair color have an effect on flash strength. Again, this is an educated assumption, if such a thing exists! *For reference: I have level I skin (very fair) with very dark brown hair.
