This is not the type of scanner that you can use to scan pages of a book. I suggest you look into different type of scanners for that particular function.

No. You will need a flatbad scanner like an Officejet or printer. This brother scanner will only take pages that are loose ie not bound together

Nope. Buy a flatbed printer. This does, however have an auto feed that works with photos.

No. You need a flat bed scanner for that since a book needs to be laid flat open

This can not scan the pages of a book because it does not have a flat bed. It can only scan pages that are flat and can be fed through the scanner.

This is a small scanner it will not work for a book. you need a flat bed scanner for that.

Not likely. This is a sheet feed scanner so, unless you can remove pages, this would not be able to scan pages from a book.
