• Yes, it will print and scan on A3 size paper. This is the max that it will print or scan.

• I haven't tried A3 size paper, but according to the specs, the answer is YES. https://www.brother-usa.com/products/MFCJ6935DW#specifications The trays are configurable to different sizes.
