“Can this model pull a stack of several 11" x 17" size paper through it's scanner, or does each piece of paper need to placed on the glass individually (manually one at a time)? Also, please verify that it does do color scanning.”

The answer to both questions is yes. The sheet feeder for the scanner can be widened to just under 12 inches, so 11 x 17 documents can be scanned if an 11-inch side is faced into the machine. The height of the feeder opening is about an inch, so a stack of anything (11 x 17, 8.5 x 11, or anything else) that high can be accommodated.
