“I really do like the Brother Pirnters - All in one System,,,,print, scan etc ............but they keep having the same problem with turning back on. I have had two of these printers and they both had this issue. Have they fixed it???”

I'm not having this problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's been about one month since I have this printer, but haven't noticed this issue. Even if it's in power save mode for couple of days, it turns on back when I send print from my laptop wirelessly. I had updated firmware from brother website. If you have not tried already, try updating the firmware.
