Will it accept brothers ink cartridge #3 null

I am unsure. However, when I purchased this printer I immediately had to print about two hundred copies. I had to replenish my ink. The printer notified me and then sent me to the manufacturer's website to purchase ink. The prices were compatible with bargain stores and the manufacturer had multiple offers for ink subscriptions.
