does this print duplexed legal-sized documents? null

The Brother MFCJ1010DW does support printing legal size documents.

I suppose it does because it is a manual operation to duplex letter size. However, I don't care for this printer at all. Years ago I worked as a techwriter and had access to much more sophisticated equipment, and I am not happy with how stripped down this printer seems to be. I plan on returning it and getting some professional help on choosing one the I will like better.
