• XL denotes a high yield cartridge. Approximately 1 1/2 times the yield of a normal yield cartridge. Yield is just the expected number of pages you can print.

• Hi. TN-450 is High-Yield and it can print 2 times more pages than normal cartridge. Normal cartridge is TN-420 and it can only print 1200 pages but TN-450 can print 2600 pages. I hope this will help for you.

• XL means that it is a high yield cartridge. It gets about 2600 pages of prints instead of a standard cartridge.
