A:AnswerUnfortunately, it is not recommended to place the bulbs in a fully enclosed fixture. The bulbs need the air circulation to keep them from overheating as well as some materials can interfere with the bluetooth reception of the bulbs.

A:AnswerYes, you can do this by setting up automations on our C by GE app. When setting up the automation you want to select how fast you want the bulb to fade.
A:AnswerYes, but it might be clunky to setup, fortunately the c by ge tech support is great. In my dealing with the device, you have two options, you setup in the c by ge app, which is not the most intuitive app, but it can be done. The other is to purchase a c by ge plug or an in wall c by ge smart switch, and that will enable wifi comms to another assistant, i.e alexa, and you can then control them via voice commands. I am in the process of installing a switch, so cant speak as to how well this works, but looking forward to set it up and see how well it performs.
A:AnswerI accidentally switch them off on the actual wall once. but the settings still worked fine and they were still responsive on my Google Home. Yes you have the option to change the temperature through the google home
