Hi Roget, for best use I can't recommend using it in a dimmer, as this can cause the bulb to flicker or hum. I would only recommend using this bulb in standard on/off fixtures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not, although I cannot test it in my home because I don't have a dimmer switch available. You are able to have Alexa change the power to the light from 10% to 100% at will. So plugging the bulb into any socket, as long as you leave the power applied to it, should work as expected.
