“How is this refrigerator rated for noise, especially as compared with the GE and GE profile models of the same dimensions? We are replacing a 10 year old GE Profile with similar dimensions - which is quiet - Ice is noiseless. Can we anticipate that?”

Hello- Thanks so much for your interest in our Cafe Side-by-Side Refrigerator. This is a beautiful model and we know you will be happy with it. We don't rate our refrigerators in dBA only our dishwashers will have a rating. However, newer refrigerators do sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. The new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. We have some sounds that you will hear listed in the manual for this model if you'd like to check them out.
