They had an issue where physical sales were cancelled and void. In theory they should have been allocated the first digital codes. But according to the SKU system that was not was purchased. It makes more sense for them to void the purchase and have you buy the digital code instead of moving your purchase to the digital code automatically, as THAT WOULD constitute false advertising and misrepresentation of a product.
