• Yes. This is an EF-S lens which fits your camera. Any Canon lens that says EF-S will fit your camera. The more expensive EF lenses are for full-frame cameras and won't fit yours without an adapter, but all EF-S lenses will.

• This lens will fit the SL2. It is very sharp, light weight and compact. Due to it being an ultra wide angle lens some extra care is needed in composition and post processing. I own this lens and can highly recommend it.
