• Yes they are. But you have to buy an adapter for the camera.

• No. This uses the EF-M series of lenses which are unique to the EOS M mirrorless cameras. If you already have a collection of EF and EF-S mount lenses, you can buy and additional adapter to use those lenses in this camera.
