This camera is so easy to use right out of the box. Even more impressive than that, I’ve been experimenting with advanced features in manual mode and it is a breeze to learn on. The lack of DP auto focus in 4K is a bummer but my 1080p/23.9fps looks AMAZING (See Drew’s Tone Talk on Youtube for more video samples.)
Couple with a Viltrox speed booster and some EF lenses, this camera is a beast for the price.

I like the camera. It’s my first canon. The pictures come out well but I still have a lot to learn. The price point is okay and the lense it comes with is nice and basic. It’s cute and light weight! Easy to take on trips.

I love this camera. It is for the most part simple to use, and takes really sharp and accurate photos. I like the compact size, which makes it great for traveling or hikes. The only small problem is the battery life and it not being water resistant, but its a small thing for how good this camera is for the price.

This is a really great camera for content creators on the go that still want high quality content in a portable easy to lug body. So many great features and even has an available adapter to mount the real money lenses. A great alternative to by Canon 80D when I wanna be lightweight and portable.

The summary just about says it all. The only knock I could give it would be the low light performance. Higher ISOs can get a bit noisy. This said, the overall image clarity and quality all other times for the money are fantastic. For the money it’s definitely “bang for your buck”. I’ll put some sample images of photos taken with said camera!

After you make the effort to learn the possibilities this camera has hidden, it becomes an excellent picture taker. You must keep the user manual close at first (maybe longer than that) to learn the fuctions that will help YOU the most for your type of photography.
Once you learn, the camera is Great! Very light! Small but big enough! No mirror shake when you take a photo - wow! The camera fucus is perfect! Tough to get use to the viewfinder window but it does work great! New photographer will miss a lot of great magic shots for a while. Medium photographer will really like this camera!

I debated buying this camera for several months, one because they were sold out, and two because I wasn’t sure if I would like it. I went back about a week ago and was told they were in stock and have used it every day since. I’m not a professional, however it is easy to use, great quality, and I love the fast shooting for capturing moving targets. Definitely good if you’re seeking something under that $1,000 mark but want better quality than a $200 camera. Recommend for vloggers starting out.

Even though this camera only lets you film in 30 minute increments, it’s still a good quality starting camera. I use it for my YouTube channel and the video quality is unmatched. I really love how it allows me to film in low light and brings light to the film anyway. I also like the autofocus. It’s very nice for starting out. If you want to see the video quality, my channel is Shantè D.

I had the Canon Rebel T6 (DSLR) camera before this and wanted to upgrade. Best purchase ever. It has the capabilities of a professional camera yet user friendly for beginner photography. The kit lense is a pretty good lense to start with. I do recommend getting the adapter to use other Canon lenses if ypu plan on using it to the full potential.

As a photographer who was looking for something small and light for daily wear with the family I stopped and looked at this. Months of research led to this purchase. Fantastic little camera, and I love that I can stick it in a diaper bag to take on the go with my littles. HOWEVER, there is one thing that I don’t like. Proceed to a shoot that I thought I might let this one have it’s legs stretched. Put a flash on the hotshoe....AND IT GOT STUCK. Canon wanted $200 to remove the two. Thankfully I got an old lock picking kit and got them separated. Nowhere in months of research did I read about this problem. Just be aware about putting a flash on. Even if it’s canon brand. All around in love with this camera minus the crappy hotshoe.

I am very happy with the M50, i use the camera for my videos on my YouTube Channel and It does an excellent job!! It is great for carry it around everywhere. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF with phase-detection system is awsome in 1080p (not in 4k), This camera is amazing!! Highly recommend this camera, still worth every penny...

The camera is amazing, it takes very clear pictures that come out in high defintion, many times better than any phone camera. Completely love the quality in which the pictures come out. Very handy and easy to operate. Very user friendly for beginners as this is my first camera.

This camera has all that I needed to capture photos and videos for instagram. I was using my iPhone 8. Now I can take really great photos and change lenses If I need to. I bought a gorilla pod and rode mic. Now I have a great setup if I ever wanted to do Youtube. All-in-all the camera for the price. A lot Cheaper than SONY A6500 and A7. Importantly it is Canon first 4k Camera. Just get a wider lens/adapter if you are worried about the 4k cropping.
