Q: QuestionWhen I’m installing and setting up the printer, do I connect the printer first, or do I install the software from the installation disc first? Also, when I’m installing the printer, do I need to connect the printer to my Mac with a USB cable? Thanks.

• A:Answer You should follow the quick setup guide that comes with your printer. I set up the printer, downloaded the driver to my various Macs, and use the printer wirelessly. You do not need to connect a cable at any point.
