No sublimation ink must have a print head that doesn't use thermal processes when used... only printers that use ink with no thermal process can be used for this ... If you put sublimation ink in a printer that uses a thermal process for its printing (example cannon, HP and others) it will almost immediately destroy the head and render the printer a large paperweight in a matter of moments or minutes... but on the other side sublimation ink will clog a print head those don't do use thermal process unless you know how to perform certain maintenance on a regular
