Q: QuestionCan the canon gx6021 be used for sublimation printing

• A:Answer No sublimation ink must have a print head that doesn't use thermal processes when used... only printers that use ink with no thermal process can be used for this ... If you put sublimation ink in a printer that uses a thermal process for its printing (example cannon, HP and others) it will almost immediately destroy the head and render the printer a large paperweight in a matter of moments or minutes... but on the other side sublimation ink will clog a print head those don't do use thermal process unless you know how to perform certain maintenance on a regular

Q: QuestionAre there any drawbacks to using a mega-tank printer? Would the inks dry out if not used daily/weekly/monthly? We need it for home use, occasionally needing to print large amounts of documents.

• A:Answer Any inkjet printer exhibits the issue of ink drying out in the printer head if not used and cleaned on a regular basis. Laserjet printers are recommended for infrequent use if you don't want the maintenance of ink.
