This model can scan legal-size sheets (8.5"x14") via scanning through the automatic document feeder; however, the flatbed glass itself when scanning single sheets can only accommodate up to letter-size sheets (8.5"x11").
I currently have an HP Envy Photo 7855 printer. I use it to print photos on photo paper on occasion. Will the HP 9135e or the HP Smart Tank 7602 be a better choice for printing photos?

The successor to the Envy 7855 is the Envy Inspire 7955e: It uses the same cartridges as the Envy Photo 7855, which are made with photo printing in mind.
