HP - OfficeJet Pro 9135 Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer, Scanner, Copier, AI-Enabled with 3 Months of Instant Ink - Cement

This replaces my HP8620 Inkjet Printer that served me well for 11 years. Yes, 11 years! I did extensive research on printers and kept coming back to the 9135. The design of the 9135 is more contemporary than my 8620, and it prints well so far. Extremely easy to connect to my MacBook Pro. I needed support to connect with my wife’s very new Windows laptop. Took a while, but support got me there. And don’t be fooled by label that says Office Jet Pro 9130 in big bold letters. Even the Best Buy manager thought the wrong machine was in the box and sent it to the back room for return. In much smaller font below, we both missed the word “Series” that HP Support ultimately pointed out to me - and I went back to purchase the 9135.

Love this printer.. Nice to be able to hit the print button and hear it start to print. This printer would be good for a small office. Prints fast and has a ink dry icon switch to turn on and a quiet switch to slow down the printing for a less noisy invierment.prints photos too.Have not tried that yet. Have the photopaper from HP though. Looks like it will do well according to other reviews. Looks good and some weight to it. Front is a full door to get to the 4 ink cartridges. Easy to install. Has a slight suction noise when installing each cartridge.Maybe it's me Probably watching to much SIFI. Laughing. Has a top feeder. On mine if I put a light amount of paper it may pull a couple of pages sometimes. If I put more then I need. It works great. Beware nothing is perfect. You can install legal paper too. Has a spot for this. I have not tried that never had the use. To be honest.Can almost put in a full paper in the trays.70%+-.you can use both trays for standard paper. Then a full plus amount of paper. Tray 1 is the adjustable one for photo, envelopes, postcards, standard paper. That is nice options. Has jam doors to open for jams. One on the inside under the scanner. One on the very back. That is cool to have. I received the 2 tone model over the black one this time. I am a sucker for 2 tone anything. You do have options on standard ink as well as the XL ink. Bit pricey. You get what you pay for. Oh this printer has setting to have it turn On and off at certain times each day. To save some electricity. I have the off one set right. I have not figured out how to get it to turn on. On its own yet. Definitely me. I'll figure it out. Love this printer. So many things it can do even the screen turns up for a better view. Cool on that. Recommend this HP 9135 series Pro printer. Glad I made the purchase. HP has great products. My last on later 11 years that was a HP 5470 model. It will be missed.

This printer is great! Easy set up- prints great quality and fast!

The printer itself works fine when the HP Smart software can find the device. Unfortunately, the software is very buggy, requiring multiple restarts before the wifi is consistently recognized. Frequently it will find the device for 30 seconds then disconnect even though the printers Wi-Fi indicator is solid blue and the Wi-Fi signal itself is uninterrupted and shutting full strength on the laptop. The display on the printer device shows a full connection as well. When the software can't find the printer via wifi, scanning is nearly impossible. This applies to both HP Smart and the new HP app. Lastly, when you try to save a recently scanned document the save Window pops up to the far right, hanging off the screen. The cancel button is hidden and therefore unavailable. That little window is not draggable to the center of the screen. Highly annoying and barely functional.

I was looking for a new HP printer to replace my existing model OfficeJet Pro 9015 wireless printer and decided to order the HP OfficeJet Pro 9135 Wireless AI-Enabled All-in-One Inkjet printer. I liked that the newest model was loaded with more apps and the HP AI program that can remove unwanted images, ads, or other information from your email it that is what you are printing. I was impressed with this new option since in the many years since I purchased the prior HP model this was a great improvement. I was able to unbox the printer and set it up rather quickly since HP provides clear instructions to set it up along with the programs you can download to your laptop or phone if desired. I knew the issue that would take the most time was setting up the network and then installing the ink cartridges and allowing the machine to calibrate and align the print heads. Fortunately, I have more than one Wi-Fi connection via a modem/router and then a wonderful Wi-Fi broadcaster that sends out the signal for Wi-Fi 7 instead of just 6e. It makes connecting various devices so much easier on 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands used on the printer, but I also use 6ghz for faster broadband results. I liked the fact that the new printer has the same 4.3" color touchscreen like other HP printers and the good feature was that the menus were easy to navigate and made setup and usage easier from the very start. I went ahead and ordered the 3 free months of the Instant Ink subscription since I had a minimal 10 pages a month on my old HP printer and I was able to cancel it while setting the new plan up. I received my first box of ink within a week of signing up and was surprised on how quickly it arrived. The printer has the good 2 methods to scan documents via the sheet feeder or flatbed. It can also duplex print without having any jams and saves paper. I was pleased with the noise level that the printer produced while printing documents. The new feature I have not had before was to setup the printer to email documents to my personal Gmail account. I was glad that I did not have to use the special long email which is a standard optional feature for HP printers. I decided to print out various photos and business presentations I had received via email so I could see how well the color settings worked on the two types of items. I then just used black and white instead of color which is a faster speed per the manufacturer and my own experience of using the brand for many years. I like the printer that has Built-in HP Wolf Pro Security that uses a powerful suite of customizable tools that boost security and helps keep networks protected against cyber threats and malware. I remembered seeing the HP Wolf security on prior HP laptops I have had over the many years.
